I meant to get this blog post out last week, but I got sick and overwhelmed, and I think everything going on just had me paralyzed, but here I am, and I’m ready to deliver some important information about some amazing pollinators here in our beautiful state of Georgia: BATS! Bats are an underappreciated and truly underloved group of creatures that provide so much for us. Aside from inspiring the creation of the iconic Batman, bats are great pollinators and disease wardens. The latter being ironic considering part of the hate bats routinely receive are due to them being hosts for a variety of different viruses.
